This island isn't very well known by backpackers, but is definitely worth a visit. Deserted beaches, good fishing. I went to the island with Dave Hall. Good snorkeling at this beach, by the way.

This is Kent, I went fishing with him on his speedboat. He is an Australian guy and he normally works near Cairns as a diving instructor. As it was low season he went down the coast and did a bit of fishing here and there. I met more Australian people who made a lifestyle of doing nice things like this...... :) It is still possible in Australia!
